NED Alumni Association of Southern California (NEDAASC) supports the best interests and traditions of Pakistan 's NED University of Engineering and Technology and it's alumni worldwide. We are dedicated to connecting alumni, students, and friends in lifelong support of the University and each other. These relationships are enhanced through advocacy, communication and volunteerism.

Year 2008
1. Rs. 60,000 paid for 5 GRE scholarship award
2. Rs. 100,000 paid for 10 need based scholarships to 2008 1st year students. These students will also be eligible for scholarships in 2nd, 3rd and final year. This year 20, then 30 and finally 40 scholarships will be given each year 2011 onwards.
3. Rs. 90,000 donated for NED ailing professor's medical treatment
Year 2009
1. Scholarships, Rs. 200,000 paid to 20 students in 1st and 2nd year.
2. Continued Education Seminars at NED Karachi Introduction to Electronic Packaging & Interconnection by Mr. Ahmer Syed in collaboration with Dr. Hassani and Ms. Amber Fishan held on Feb 13, and attended by over 100 student.
3. Awarded Rs. 75,000 Essay Competition to 3 NED students.

4. Hosted NED Alumni Intl. Convention in Los Angeles on July 18, 09. raised over $15,000 for future projects.

Year 2010
1. Rs. 380,000 will be paid in Scholarships to 30 NED needy students
2. Essay Competition with price money Rs. 75,000 will be launched.
3. Exploring possibility to assist one NED student in presenting technical papers overseas
4. Continued Education Seminars at NED Karachi
5. Membership Drive / Fund Raising Dinner / Musical Program Planned for Jan 23, 2010
